On Jan. 10 2014, good news came in from the bidding conference for Chaoshui Airport, Yantai, - NUCTECH won two bids for this project including more than 10 types of security inspection equipment (more than 100 sets) such as supplying X-ray inspection system, portable trace explosive detector, CT security inspection device, layered management systems.
Winning the Yantai airport project is a good start for NUCTECH's small smart product business in 2014, increasing its market share in the domestic large and medium airports. In addition, the CT device XT2080, which was launched latest by NUCTECH, won over its strong foreign rivals and set a foot in the home aviation market for the first time. It meant a remarkable success in NUCTECH's promotion of the new CT security inspection products.
