NUCTECH was accredited by the expert panel of Beijing Municipal Commission for Science and Technology (BMCST) as Beijing Municipal Research Center for Specific Substance Security Detection Technology and Equipment Engineering Technology in June2013. The center will be under NUCTECH and NUCTECH president Mr. Chen Zhiqiang was appointed director of the center.
As an accredited engineering and technology research center in Beijing, the support organization, BMCST will give preferential policies and financial support to NUCTECH when it undertakes projects to transform key scientific/technologic achievements in state and municipal levels, and will be as experimental enterprises for stock ownership incentives, and enjoys policies such as taxation and deduction of development &research cost as high and new technology enterprises, conducts international technological cooperation and exchange, develops high-level engineering & technologic and managerial talents in associated industries and fields, joins “Hundred Leading Talent Developing Program for Scientific &Technologic Beijing, and Beijing Municipal New Scientific &Technologic Star Program. Meanwhile, it will play an important role for NUCTECH in improving building of the innovation mechanism, speeding up talent development, enhancing corporative innovative capability in development of key technologies and technical equipment, beefing up completion in technology and science and in the international market, promoting technologic improvement in associated industries and fields and development in strategic emerging industries, and contributing to building an innovative nation.
