A group led by Mr. Steve, Global Vice President of Texas Instrument, the United States of America, and Head of Beijing Branch of TI Semiconductor Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd visited NUCTECH and were greeted by the Standing Vice Director Liu Yaohong, Vice Chief Engineer Zhang Lan, of NUCTECH Joint Institute, and Vice Chief Engineer Li Yulan of the product line management department, as well as personnel of technical departments, and both exchanged views in depth on issues of their interest on Aug. 15 2013.
TI, one of the largest semiconductor manufacturers in the world, has produced chips that are widely used in the detector modules in the large products of NUCTECH, their technical performance having large effect on NUCTECH products. TI has been paying close attention to NUCTEC development and NUCTECH’s requirements on products. Both parties hoped this exchange would substantially drive the joint technical cooperation and create more opportunities for respective development.
