July 30,2013, Beijing Municipal Patent-Advancing Fund Award-Presentation Conference and the founding ceremony for Beijing Alliance for Intellectual Property and Service Industry were held at the Zhongguancun Demonstration Zone for Self-reliant and Innovation where Vice president Mr. Chen Wei was present and made a speech on behalf of high-tech enterprises.
During the conference, NUCTECH was granted the 2012 funds specifically for advancing patent protection at home and abroad in the amount of RMB 1,425,000.00 (of which RMB 375,000 for abroad protection and RMB 1,050,000 for home protection) by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Intellectual Property and Zhongguancun Administration Commission. NUCTECH has been receiving support for policies regarding intellectual property protection and special funds from Beijing Municipal Government and Zhongguancun for years in a row. This will help NUCTECH to strengthen strategic presence worldwide and protection in respect of intellectual properties, and make it more competitive over the world, substantially.
