In Dec. 2012, NUCTECH was accredited as the State-level Innovative Pilot Enterprise in the fifth group jointly by Ministry of Science and Technology, State-own Enterprise Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, and All-China Federations of Trade Unions.
The innovative enterprise piloting work has been carried jointly by the above-mentioned three ministries and commissions to select pilot enterprises from those whose growth comes from technologic innovation with priority given to state-owned key enterprises, system-transformed scientific research institutes and high/new tech enterprises, in line with the state’s general arrangement in building innovative enterprises, since 2008. Beijing Municipal Commission of Science and Technology recommends only 2 or 3 enterprises to Ministry of Science and Technology for accreditation every year. The accreditation means NUCTECH’s strength in technologic innovation is highly recognized and affirmative. As a state-level pilot enterprise, NUCTECH will certainly be given more guidance and stronger support from national and local policies in the future development, and especially, it will be playing a positive role for NUCTECH in further improving building of the product-education-research innovation mechanism, enhancing its innovative capacity, fostering high-level innovative and managerial talents, exploring advanced innovative management model and beefing up its competitiveness in the world under the guidance of policies regarding building an innovative nation, thus contributing to national economy and social development.
